Stephanie Bothe completed her art studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart in 2023. Since 2024, she has been living and working as an artist in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region.

Casualness, sensuality, and absurdity characterize her artistic work. Found materials, spaces, and situations form the starting point for a cross-media practice that spans drawing, objects, performance, photography, video, and installation. In doing so, she focuses on the beauty and value found in the seemingly mundane.

Her works explore change, transience, and the provisional. She seeks out gaps and moments of instability in which found elements shift, transform, and take on unexpected forms.
